We would like to inform you that ScottishPower Renewables (SPR) will be undertaking essential construction works on Sizewell Gap Road, Sizewell, Suffolk. These works form part of the East Anglia TWO offshore wind farm project and will involve the installation of accesses to facilitate our cable works.
To ensure public and workforce safety, temporary traffic management will be in place during the following periods. All traffic management arrangements have been approved by Suffolk County Council Highways.
Traffic management:
- Two sets of single lane access managed by two-way traffic lights for approx. 125m on Sizewell Gap Road, Sizewell, Suffolk
- Start Date: 13th October 2025
- Duration: Approx. 8 weeks
Please note, the two sets of traffic lights will not run cocurrently, they will run one after the other. Traffic management will start at access point 2, and move on to access point 1.
Scope of Works:
- Clearance of verge and hedgerow
- Construction of bell mouth access points (including kerbing, aggregate laying, and asphalting)
